When my friends go through break ups, I usually tell them the same things. I tell them to not let the ex see how depressed or upset you are, whether through status updates, texts, tweets, etc. By letting them see how devastated you are, it is evident that they have the upper hand because by seeing you sad, they are able to feel better about themselves. By not displaying your emotions, they can see that you were able to move on and that it does not faze you at all. I think that you should not show how subordinate you are and prove that you can be the dominant one. Prove to your ex that you can make it better off without them, regardless if they broke up with you or not.
Personally, when I see an ex devastated, it makes me exhilarated. While they are sulking and being a drama queen, I am able to enjoy living my life without having to deal with that mess.
if you don’t try you never know. nothing ventured, nothing gained.
-unk.
don’t fake it `til you feel it.
So instead of moping and sulking and feeling sorry for yourself like the little shit you are, get your cry baby ass up and go fuck some bitches, get shit faced, get high or even go streaking. Who knows, you might die tomorrow. So go out with a bang!
Stop letting dumb shit slow you down. There is no time for that bullshit.
